It’s Thanksgiving break for most of our schools and we’ve got a reason to celebrate at Play Street Museum. This Thanksgiving season we are thankful for YOU! Bring the kiddos by this week for some quality playtime and some extra special fun. Here are a few new things that you can do this week:
Dip Dye an Apron
Dip Dye is a new addition to our Craft Co. offerings that is a creative activity and special keepsake too. This week we’ll have aprons to dip dye just in time for the big day of cooking ahead. Kiddos can get into the spirit of the season as they create their own design or use our stencils to decorate their dip dye project.
Paint a piece of Pottery
Pottery painting never goes out of style. Our selection of fall pieces make the perfect holiday decor or gift for someone special. We love pulling out our pottery each year to remember the pieces our kiddos have painted in the past and seeing the improvement in painting skills they have developed year after year.
Make a Thankful Bracelet
This activity is free with admission and gives children the chance to spell out what they’re thankful for- literally! These bead bracelets build fine motor skills and let children think about the real reason for the season – thankfulness!
